Every Saturday you'll find a nice little farmers market on the Noordermarkt with with local, fresh products. From fruits & vegetables to Dutch cheeses, you can buy your weekly necessities from local vendors.
Within a five minute walk, you'll be at The Movies on the Haarlemmerdijk. This is the oldest functioning cinema in Amsterdam and for good reason. Go see for yourselves!
