Internet connection

There is WiFi in the entire building!

Wifi internet: ​There are 2 Wifi networks to access at Fraijlemaborg.

- DeKey-Fraijlemaborg, access with password i3xHp*ag
- eduroam, access with your log in details of the University is required.

Wired internet: in your room is a wired internetconnection and we advise you to bring your own wire to connect during the first weeks.

It is possible that Utelisys needs to make arrangements in your room to activate it. If so, there will be an appointment made in advance. 

(never let a un invited person in without asking for their (work) ID for a quick identification. And do not leave your room unattended).

In order to connect to the wired internet follow these steps:

• Connect your computer with an UTP network cable to the wall outlet in your room. Bring your own or buy your own that is suited for your device. De Key is not providing cables! (see photo of cable below)
• Boot your computer and go to www.google.com
• You will be prompted with information from the internet provider to read and agree to the rules of engagement.
• Fill out the requested information. (you need your tenancy agreement number)
• Reboot your computer and you are ready to go.
