Hi Summerschool student! How can you book a room with us for the duration of your program?

STEP 1: Activate your account through our e-mail
  • Go online to see the room offer by activating your account (within 5 days!) via the link in your invitation e-mail.
  • Your account expires after 5 days. Within that time, you will need to have booked your assigned room.
  • Verify your date of birth (DD-MM-YY).
  • Please check your spamfolder as well, as the invitation e-mail will come from noreply@dekey.nl.
STEP 2: Log in to your account and check personal details
  • You will receive a new email with a password - log in. When you are online - please check your personal details.
  • If your personal details are not fully correct, please notify us: your account will then be blocked temporarily (room won't be booked by any other student). Once we have corrected this, you can continue your booking.
STEP 3: Check your reserved room
  • Tick the box to continue and find the available room offer reserved for you by the University (it can take a minute or two to load the requested data). 
  • No deposit payment is needed to book your room.
Step 4: Check lease conditions and wait for lease agreement

  • Before completing your booking, please double check the dates/conditions of your lease as they are not adjustable.

  • Once you have received a confirmation e-mail WITH your lease agreement in a PDF-file, you will have successfully booked your room with us. No lease agreement = no room!

Your personal details

  • Please check your personal details as they will be on your official tenancy agreement: these much match with how you are registered at your University.
  • We will only use one initial of your first name(s) even if you have multiple middle names. This does not include the first letter of your lastname(s)!
  • Is something incorrect? Only request a change in your details when it requires an official adjustment, as your account will be blocked temporarily when you do. Once we have corrected this you can continue your booking.

After booking your room

  • Once the booking of your assigned room is final, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a PDF lease agreement. After this no changes to your lease are possible.
  • Save your confirmation e-mail WITH your lease agreement in a PDF-file, you will need it to activate your keyless account for your room on your mobile device.
