Explanation Fire Alarm System

Alarm other residents

When the alarm goes off it will only go off in the relevant department/units.

Use the hand alarm to also set
of the alarm the rest of the building.

Smoke detectors

There are modern so-called thermal (heat-sensitive) smoke detectors installed in your home and the common areas. This type of smoke detector causes few false reports, so if there is an alarm there is a good chance that something is really wrong!

It is strictly forbidden to deactivate or dismantle a smoke detector!

With this you put yourself and others in great danger. That is why De Key applies a zero tolerance policy here.

When a smoke detector is deactivated, De Key is forced to charge the repair costs and an additional fine to the tenant. Please note, as soon as a smoke detector is deactivated, a message is sent to the alarm center. The minimum cost is € 150,00.

Switch off the fire alarm signal

Key Switch (location)

The switch is located in the emergency stairwell. Except on the ground floor. There the switch is located opposite the kitchen above the fire hose.

Key Switch (controll)

If you are sure that it is a false report or the danger has passed, you can switch off the alarm with this switch. You can operate this switch with any key. Attention: Keep the key turned until the alarm is actually off, this can take a few seconds (1 to 10 seconds).

Follow up by a security officer

Within 20 minutes after an alarm report, an Intersafe Security Officer comes to the building for a check the reactivation of the alarm system.
