Noise complaints from neighbors!

We have received several noise complaints from residents of neighboring buildings, which has been an ongoing problem for years. These neighbors, some with children, regularly wake up at night because of the noise coming from your building. Most of the nuisance comes from the galleries outside and in front of the entrance door. The noise on the gallery bounces between your building and the University across the street, causing neighbours to hear it more loudly.

We ask you to be a good neighbor:

• Be quiet outside/in the gallery after 10PM. This means keeping your voices down, but also closing your doors gentily.
• In case the rules aren't followed, we are forced to consider further enforcement measures.

Consequences when violating the houserules and peace at our accommodations:

• We can report it to your faculty for an official warning
• You can be evacuated from your room
• Credits awarded for any module successfully completed can be taken from you by the advisors and the exam committee
